Welcome to this guided meditation to be done before studying, or taking tests. Often, our minds are absorbed with everything going on around us, and we are stressed, or we are anxious, and it is critical to let most of this go, so our minds can be sharp and clear for the studying or test-taking we are about to do. In this meditation, we will be employing the breath, eye pattern methods, visualization, and mantras to get ourselves in a calm, but alert state for our studies or test. Also, studies have shown that inhaling lemon essential oil helps release stress, and brings the mind to a state of alertness, helping to retain information studied. Lemon essential oil is optional during this meditation, and is not required. If you have it, then please have it by your side for the breathing portion of this meditation. At the end of this meditation, we will ground ourselves back to the present moment, by a change in tempo, using drums to anchor us to mother earth. Enjoy!
